If you didn't already know, PokerTracker 3 is one of the most recognizable and highest rated third-party tracking programs for online poker players. It’s a complete suite of tools aimed at making you a better poker player and includes a fully customizable Heads-Up Display (HUD), support for Hold’em and Omaha, and much more. As part of a commitment to their customers, the team at PokerTracker constantly releases free updates. Let’s review the most recent rollouts.
Since August, there have been three major releases to the Beta 3.07 build of PokerTracker. These updates are free for those who have purchased the program and are easy to install, with a user simply downloading the executable file and running it to update their edition of PokerTracker.
Version 3.07.03 Beta was released on August 18th and added one new feature, made three changes, and fixed dozens of issues caused by poker site software updates. The major addition with this Beta update was Omaha support for PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, PartyPoker, and the CEREUS Network (UB.com and Absolute Poker). The changes included a filter change for tournament seats.
For Cake Poker players, this update fixed an error when no small blind is posted and another import error with hands incorrectly being recorded. Bodog players saw fixes for importing issues with hero names and no longer received play money support. PokerStars players saw an import fix for those playing at the heads-up 20 to 100 big blind tables and had an issue with freerolls fixed.
PartyPoker players saw import fixes for hands from 20 big blind Euro tables and tournament hands that end in a knockout. Full Tilt Poker players received the ability to import from the FullTiltPoker.fr French site, a fix for Matrix tournaments, and the ability to import from the new Rush Poker table named “Electro.” Finally, the HUD was updated to support Rush Poker on FullTiltPoker.fr.
The next Beta update came on September 8th. The HUD configuration screen was changed so that pop-ups can now be moved up and down within groups. Import fixes were addressed at CEREUS sites for tournaments where the buy-in consists of points and not cash, where tournament summaries use old table types, and where blind levels are inconsistent.
The HUD saw several fixes, including Rush Poker performance issues, an issue with crashes while observing non-Rush tables, and an issue causing deadlocks. Mac HUD fixes included exit crashes and another problem involving a crash when showing mucked cards. The GUI was also updated when the Full Tilt auto-configure did not read the location properly.
The most recent update came on October 5th with the release of Version 3.07.5 Beta, which added Winamax support. The only other change with this update was that the HUD would no longer be available inside the hand replayer while import is running to address a performance issue. On top of that, there were a ton of fixes addressed, including three Tourney Detect updates for Pacific Poker, Full Tilt Matrix games, and PokerStars Steps. The HUD had an issue fixed regarding Rush Poker tournaments as well as a performance fix for the HUD when using PokerTracker on a Mac. There were import updates for Merge, Microgaming, Cake Poker, CEREUS, Entraction, iPoker, Boss, PokerStars, PartyPoker, Bodog, and Full Tilt Poker.
All updates can be downloaded from within the PokerTracker 3 Build History / Release Notes thread inside of the PokerTracker forums. All releases are completely free for all registered users.
